THIS MONTH, we have a special guest mix by the one and only, Richard Trout. Richard's also just signed up as one of our new 2023 residents - Amazing. Check out this 2 hour mix by the man himself. Richard first began DJing in the mid-'90s at the age of 16. Playing everything from breakbeat, techno, Italian house, jungle, and house. Along with a friend, he started a successful night in a local pub but grew out of the dance scene over time and learned to play the guitar. Being in several bands and playing hundreds of gigs over the years gave Richard a good knowledge of reading crowds. Around 3 years ago Richard rediscovered his love for house music and set about learning to play on digital equipment. Richard set up Transmission Lost, a listening platform for DJs to submit mixes to, and built up a group of residents and guests. Building on this Richard set up his own night called All Things House and has just announced his new night in 2023 called "Early Doors Disco" with PHUK and Lost In head honcho Danny Jarvis. Having played many clubs and festivals, with residencies on Saturo Sounds and Subcode radio Richard's a hard-working DJ whose star is really starting to shine!
